Explanation:
Looser zones (also known as pseudofractures or Milkman lines) are wide transverse lucencies traversing partway through a bone, usually at right angles to the involved cortex. They are pathognomonic for osteomalacia. Brown tumors are seen in hyperparathyroidism, rugger jersey spine in renal osteodystrophy, and bamboo spine in ankylosing spondylitis.
